Hotel Production coordinated the Marfa Journal project in Milan, working alongside one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary independent publishing to bring its uncompromising visual language to life on set.
Founded in Texas and distributed globally, Marfa Journal has built its identity around a deliberately sparse, documentary aesthetic — photography that resists the polished conventions of mainstream fashion publishing in favour of something more raw and immediate. Translating that sensibility into a produced shoot requires a service capable of preserving the tension between spontaneity and control without ever tipping the balance.
From set coordination to full production support, Hotel Production managed every phase of the project in Milan, following the creative direction of the publication with the aesthetic precision and absolute professionality that define our work. The result is a series of images as uncompromising as the journal itself.
